We will keep you updated on a regular basis on all the activity that your property has generated.
Before we advertise your property we will require the following documents/information from you:
1. Title Deed (Kocan), if you have received yours
2. Site Plan. If you do not have a copy, one can be obtained from the District Land Office
3. Full inventory of fixtures and fittings to be included in the sale
4. Full sales contract information
5. Your lawyer's contact details
Here are some general tips which we recommend you read through and implement where you can:
First impressions count. Make sure the frontage of your property is attractive and presentable. Tidy up the driveway and front garden and put some potted plants out to add a splash of colour. Make it as inviting as you can so that people who look from the outside first are tempted to view the inside as well.
Tidiness and cleanliness are very important, especially in the kitchen and bathroom. Make sure the washing up has been done, tidy away clutter from work surfaces and clean the bath and shower. Also make the beds and ensure the curtains/shutters are open to ensure maximum light and of course maximise any views. Lighting is also very important, especially in dull corners and dark rooms. Have lights already turned on before the viewers arrive.
If you have pets keep them out of the way, as cats and dogs are not popular with everyone. A quick spray of air freshener will mask any pet or household smells.
The garden is very important especially as North Cyprus is hot for most of the year. Tidy up flowerbeds and sweep up any leaves.
Imagine the people who are viewing are going to be the ones who will buy your house. Be friendly and try to create a good rapport because if they do choose to buy, you will no doubt be speaking to them again on several occasions.
